Theodore Chadjipandelis received his first degree from the School of Mathematics of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki in 1980 and his doctorate from the Department of Statistical and Operational Research of the same School in 1984. From 1981 to 1990 he worked at the Scho ol of Mathematics and from 1990 to 2001 at the School of Education. Since then he is Professor at the School of Political Sciences. His research interests cover the field of Applied Statistics and mainly refer to issues of experiment design, statistical research training, public opinion, political and electoral behavior, electoral geography, as well as urban and regional programming and development.
He has published more than 60 scientific studies related to educational issues, applied statistics, electoral behavior models, public opinion analysis and urban and regional programming. He has participated in more than 100 conferences, in many of them as member of the organizing committee. He has lectured on these issues in Greece and abroad. He is currently member of the Institute of Local Government and of the Committee for Administrative Reform.
